The CE21 Sharing Marketplace continues revolutionizing how organizations exchange educational content, driving revenue and expanding audience reach. In this episode, Hank the Emu chats with Jax James, our Client Success and Engagement Manager, to explore how CE21’s Sharing Marketplace effortlessly generates non-dues revenue.
Hank: Can you tell our audience about CE21’s Sharing Marketplace and how it benefits our clients?
Jax: The CE21 Sharing Marketplace is a dynamic platform that facilitates the exchange of online educational content among our partners. It’s designed to empower organizations to maximize their investment in educational resources. With a click of a button, you can easily increase non-dues revenue.
Hank: How does the Sharing Marketplace work?
Jax: The Sharing Marketplace operates within CE21’s Trident Learning Management Service (LMS), offering two primary revenue-generating avenues. First, organizations can share their existing content with other partners, setting pricing ranges and earning revenue from individual sales. This expands their reach and allows them to tap into new markets and industries. Second, clients can fill gaps in their educational libraries by adding programs from leading worldwide experts to their catalog, setting custom pricing, and earning revenue from sales.
Hank: Can you tell us about some of the Marketplace’s features?
Jax: Badge counts display the number of programs in specific categories or product types, saving users time and helping them identify content efficiently. Clients can also access detailed credit information for shared programs, including where they’ve been shared, producer credits, handouts, and internal notes. You can even view the program to ensure it fits your catalog correctly. This level of transparency fosters trust and streamlines the sharing process. When sharing your programs out, there is an area where you can provide detailed notes related to your program. This can help those looking to share in your course understand the various credits they could use this program for. Special reports provide the data you need to identify your best sellers and track trends and revenue.
Hank: What are some helpful tips for maximizing the benefits of the Sharing Marketplace?
Jax: My top tip would be to actively engage with the monthly Sharing Marketplace Digest, which highlights content from our legal and chiropractic partners. This helps clients explore new subject areas and disciplines that may interest their organization, driving additional revenue opportunities. We will be adding other categories in the future. Additionally, regularly reviewing available content and leveraging the badge counts feature can help identify gaps and opportunities for growth within their educational libraries. Stay tuned for more insights and updates on our Sharing Marketplace and how CE21 is transforming the online learning landscape.
